Les mini bûches de Noël

Today in French Club, students enjoyed making mini bûches de Noël, or yule logs, a popular holiday treat in France.  Since we didn't have time to make a real bûche de Noël during the time allotted, we made our own smaller interpretations.  See the results:

Here are the questions from our activity today.  You will need to access Google Maps to answer them. At each location, look all around you first.   Then, if you still haven’t found what you’re looking for, take one step forward (facing the direction you were facing when the street view first loaded).   Use the zoom buttons or the click wheel on your mouse to zoom in on details. You may need to change the date of the street view.  See the photo above.  Click on the street view date in the top left corner, and toggle it to a different date to see a new view. This activity is meant to be an enjoyable way to explore Paris and practice vocabulary.  If there's a question that's too difficult due to finicky maps, just skip it! Tu vas chez = You go to…                                          Je vais chez = I go to… Où vas-tu ? = Where do you go? 1.        14 rue Monge, Paris [Street View 2008]  -- Tu veux un croissant. Où vas-tu ? 2.     3 rue du Mont
