Adoptez un escargot

Image
Our latest project, adoptez un escargot, is underway.  You created some very interesting rooms for your snails to describe in French.  This room here as a real working microphone!  Here's what Jimmy the escargot says about his likes and dislikes: "J'aime jouer de la guitare.  Je n'aime pas faire du jogging."

Des bon-bons pour vous!

Voilà des bon-bons pour vous! Ils s'appellent Carambar. Ils sont très populaires en France. Regardez le blog pour une opportunité pour deux bon-bons!

Au restaurant

"Je voudrais un macaron et un thé Earl Grey, s'il vous plaît." What famous restaurant am I eating in when I took this photo? Hint: It's on the Avenue des Champs-Élysées!

Des escargots !

Image
Bonjour encore ! I am enjoying some escargots on the Avenue des Champs-Élysées. What are escargots? If you don't know, look at the picture. À bientôt !

Bonjour de Paris!

Bonjour classe! I wish you were all here with me. I have already purchased your souvenirs. Stay tuned later this week to see a picture of it!

Le vocabulaire

Image
Don't forget that you can practice your vocabulary and boost your grade by creating a comic strip or a Voki avatar! If you have lost your vocabulary assignments guide sheet, go to Edline and download it from the "Important Handouts" menu. Enjoy these creations from your classmates!

Poisson d'avril !

Image
Monday we learned about the French tradition of sticking fish on people's backs as an April Fool's joke.  While you colored your fish, you learned how to describe their color in French.  As you can see from the pictures, some of you tried out the trick right in class!

Une histoire "verbale"

Image
I was very impressed with your work on "Une histoire verbale," your books containing stories made with ER verbs.  Since they came out so nicely, you will have time later this week to browse other groups' stories you may not have had a chance to look at before.
