Following the events of Friday, November 13, in Paris, we (along with Mme Murray's students) made posters to send in a video to our pen pals in Dammarie-lès-Lys, France.  The results were thoughtful and heartfelt.  Here is the final product:

Some students chose to make posters explaining why they are learning French.  A judge chose one of the posters to be the winner (see below). Recently, we used the MakeBeliefsComix app to practice vocabulary.  Here are some of the comics that students made, all created with MakeBeliefsComix.com.   Some of these comics were even used in a homework assignment!

We have been using the iPads a lot this year.  Here are some of our activities:   Drawing vocabulary expressions   Playing DuoLingo after finishing a task early.   Answering comprehension questions with Nearpod.   Playing Kahoot to review for a quiz (students tap the correct answer on the iPad).   Answering review questions on Socrative.
