Meilleurs Voeux - Seasons Greetings!

Image
Here are a couple things we did in December to ring in the holiday spirits: At French Club students made mini Bûches de Noël, a holiday treat in France. Students made cards for friends, family members, and teachers. Students brought in holiday and winter dishes such as Bûches de Noël (above) and belgi galettes (below). More Bûches de Noël! Even more Bûches de Noël!

What We've Been Up to Lately

Image
It has been awhile since I posted, so here is a roundup of what we've been doing lately in French class. Students practiced colors by drawing scenes and writing the name of the color their were using over and over again. Students shared their family projects with their classmates! Some of them did projects on the computer while others did them on paper. Students excitedly read their letters from their pen pals in France before writing a response! Some of the students' family projects, depicting a real or imaginary family. Students went on a virtual tour of Paris with Google Maps!
