For Mardi Gras this year, students learned all about the holiday and where it is celebrated, then for our virtual day, they either prepared a traditional Mardi Gras dish or dressed up themselves, a pet, a stuffed animal, or even a grandparent in traditional Mardi Gras attire.  February 2 is a holiday in France called la Chandeleur.  On this day in France, crêpes are enjoyed by many.  For Chandeleur this year, students had the opportunity to prepare crêpes at home for our virtual class.  Additionally, students reflected on their experience and what they learned about the holiday.
