Students have been completing Independent Exploration assignments, where they complete an activity from a library of resources (such as watching a movie or music video in French, cooking a dish from a French-speaking country, or playing a game to review vocabulary) and then share with me what they learned.  Here's a peek into what they've been doing and learning! To celebrate National French Week, 7th and 8th grade French students prepared dishes and treats from all over the French-speaking world, and enjoyed them during class on Wednesday, our virtual day!  Here is a video of students in both grades with their scrumptious concoctions: Here are some thoughts that students shared after reflecting on the experience: Students were also given an opportunity to provide feedback on how we could make an experience like this even better, and many students submitted some great ideas!
