November French Club Meeting
We had our second French Club meeting of the year on November 14, with over 30 students in attendance! We learned about the importance of snails in French culture, then we played Escargot, a French variant on hopscotch, which involves hopping on one foot and counting up to 15. Winners got prizes!
National French Week Celebration!
On Thursday, we celebrated National French Week by enjoying some dishes from around the French speaking world. Some of the food we ate included Brie cheese or Nutella on baguette bread, macarons, meringues, quiche, clafoutis, cream puffs, Caribbean sweet quick bread, gateau à fruits, and croissants. Below, quiche up close! These students look pretty excited about the festivities!
