Les maths en français

You may skip any 3 equations on your next homework assignment if you post at least two items to the wallwisher.  Start or finish an equation using the French words for the numbers.  Follow my model. Don't forget to leave your initials and period!

Babbel - Un site fantastique !

Babbel is a great site to practice your French!  Thanks go to Mathieu, a student from last year, who found this wonderful site!  It is free to use, and offers different levels.

In addition to French, you can learn over ten other languages using Babbel.

Des conversations en français !

You should be pretty proud of yourselves - in addition to having class taught entirely in French (as it has been for the past few days), you had two sets of conversations in French with your classmates.  Bravo !

Il s'appelle, elle s'appelle

A few more pictures...this time students are learning each other's names by stating the names of the members in their group using French, and in some cases, adding a gesture to make it more challenging!

If you don't see your class on the blog yet, it will be soon!  I don't always get around to every class during every activity to take a picture.

Bonjour ! Comment t'appelles-tu ? Je m'appelle...

Now that I have many of your blog permission slips, I wanted to share a few photos.  Here you are speaking French with your classmates on the first day of school!

NOTE: This post contains a YouTube video. I have approved this video for the blog, but if you choose to click out and leave the blog, you will be viewing content that I have not pre-approved.

Watch the video we watched in class again, then post a reason to learn French below!

Post a sticky in the wall below to earn one extra point on your homework.  It must not have been previously used!  For your name, put your initials and period (example J.S. P2)

You can click here to view the wall nice and large!
